I hope the new year is treating you well. I just wanted to give you a heads up on some news and upcoming gigs. I've got one here in the Los Angeles area this weekend and in the beginning of March, I'm back in the UK! I can't wait. This is going to be a long letter so put on your pajamas, grab a hot tea or cocoa and have a nice read; treat is as a bedtime story or morning paper...:-)...
If you didn't know this already, I've got a single coming out soon with a dance group called, LoverushUK! called, "Mystery to Me". They did a compilation cd and I was asked to be part of it. The first single was done with Boy George and is doing very well in the dance charts. Please read below:

Already hotly tipped as Boy George's best since his 1999 Grammy nominated 'When Will You Learn' the new smash for Loverush UK! has already scored massive support on specialist radio shows across the UK. If that wasn't enough the DJ support on the single has been immense leading the track to peak at.... Number 10 in the Music Week Club Chart (Published February 17th), Number 06 in the DMC Update Club Chart (Published February 14th), Number 16 in the DMC Mainstream Chart (Published February 14th), Number 11 in the M8 Magazine Club Chart (In The March Edition).
If that wasn't enough the video is over two thousand hits in just over a week on You Tube and is now set to become the hit it deserves to be when released world-wide on March 05th Digital download only. The stunning single 'Mystery To Me' featuring the legendary Marcella Detroit is set to go to full promo on the 26th February and then a full club mailout on March 20th. The single will come complete with the Original mixes backed by tasty remixes by Disciples Of Sound, Mal Black and Punk Soundcheck also a possible acoustic version. Video also coming soon produced by Marcella's husband Lance. The single is set for Worldwide release on April 30th.
The boys album featuring the singles with Boy George, Marcella Detroit and the later singles with Shelley Harland and Kirsty Hawkshaw 'Plethora' will be available worldwide from July 09th and will feature further colaborations with Zee Asha, 4th Child, Andrea Britton, Kate Cameron, Plavka, Louise De Fraine, Laura Jeanne and Linda Dougan.
Expect big things for all involved this year as Loverush UK! are rapidly building a reputation as "One Too Watch"

The night is call the "Trannyshack", which won best new club night 2006 at the Boyz Readers awards, it's a night full of DRAG QUEENS and their admirers.

I had the honor to meet the incredibly talented and award winning jazz artist Ian Shaw while over in the UK back in November of last year. After my performance at the Soho Revue Bar, we went upstairs to the piano bar and decided to play a few songs while the duo that was playing took a break. We did Billie Holiday's, "God Bless the Child". Ian and I stayed in touch and he invited me to come back to London to do these two nights with him - I'm so excited!! I've always loved singing these songs; I love the melodies and the lyrics, it's a dream come true! We'll be doing two shows per night.
