News | October

Hello All!!

Hope you're enjoying autumn. It always inspires me to buckle down and get things done. I have some news for you! First, I wanted to announce that we have put up some never seen before footage of an interview of Shakespear's Sister, Siobhan and I, just before the release of our second cd, "Hormonally Yours". Yes, I know, I look about as big as a house, but hey, gimme a break, I had a baby 8 weeks before!! I hope you enjoy it though. It was shot by my husband, Lance Aston; he was the one who actually came up with the concept for our "Stay" video and was the first AD (assistant director) on the video. It's on youtube.com. Please find the link here:

"Stay" on youtube.com

Also, my new blues cd is now available for downloading all the songs separately on itunes! Just go to itunes, do a search for marcy levy band, and "the upside of being down" will come up. Enjoy. The cd is also available for purchase at cdbaby.com:

Although they are currently out of stock (which is good!), I'll be sending some more this week. I'm off to the UK this Friday to do the show I told you all about. Here it is again, in case you forgot:

"Soho Revuebar Launch Party"
(formerly Too2Much)

Wednesday, 8th November 2006

On Wednesday 8th November 2006 a stunning star-studded party will mark the renaming of Too2Much as Soho Revuebar. As part of the venue relaunch we plan to resurrect the iconic Revuebar sign on Brewer Street (which has not been in use since the Raymond Revue Bar days). Over the past year, Too2Much has been the venue of choice for exclusive mainstream and up-and-coming music acts, high profile launches and celebrity parties. Artists to perform so far include Boy George, Marcella Detroit, Anthony Costa (Blue) with more names to be announced. One more thing: if you are in the Los Angeles area, I'll be doing a show with my blues project on Friday, November 17th at a club called Cafe 322 in Sierra Madre. I'll send out a newsletter about that late next week with all the details. Thanks for reading. There will be some new additions to my site very soon. Please stay tuned!!

Lots of love and good will;

Marcy xoxoxo
